Dear customers,
The Mountain Tearooms Restaurant is now closed, as our lease is up and we will be relocating to the MA area in the months to come.
The equipment has been sold to the new tenant who will be opening an entirely different kind of establishment soon. The name and fond memories are still ours.
Thank you for giving us some great years, great times and great reviews!
Chef, Michael Bielby

Description |
|
 |
| |
Our menus change regularly so that our ingredients are always in
season. A summer menu may include fresh, delicious dishes such as
our fresh pear, walnut and stilton salad on a bed of baby greens
or seared sea scallops on a wild mushroom and leek casserole followed
by raspberry and chocolate truffle torte with fresh raspberry coulis.
In the winter, we may serve roasted sea bass with smoked salmon
on caper and chive mashed potatoes, with poached egg and lemon tarragon
sauce, or warm goat’s cheese wrapped in grilled zucchini with
filberts and winter vegetables in a red wine reduction. Imagine
this followed by a sticky toffee pudding, served with home made
vanilla ice cream!
And while the menu changes, we will always serve simple and delicious
favorites such as The Mountain Tearooms Macaroni Cheese and a variety
of unique gourmet salads.
To end your meal, we offer many different varieties of the finest
loose teas and fresh, cafetiere-pressed coffees.
